Olympiad is Amtgard’s premier interkingdom championship; a proving ground where the best of the best gather to test their mastery in War skills, Arts & Sciences, and Weapon combat.

Hosted annually on a rotating basis by the Kingdoms of Amtgard.

Olympiad '26 will crown Four champions:

Battle Olympian: Champion of the Battlefield
Weapon Olympian: Champion of the Tournaments
Cultural Olympian: Champion of Arts & Sciences
Grand Olympian: The overall champion across disciplines

For decades, Olympiad has stood as a symbol of interkingdom unity and excellence. A gathering of champions, a celebration of craft, and a showcase of the depth of talent across all of Amtgard.

To compete at Olympiad is to represent your Kingdom.
To win is to etch your name into Amtgard history.

The Three Paths to Glory

Battle Olympiad

The Battle Olympiad tests adaptability, teamwork, leadership, and endurance across multiple game formats.

The final Battle for Olympian crowns the leader of the last team standing as War Olympian.

Players must participate in all rounds of all games to qualify

Culture Olympiad

The Culture Olympiad tests creativity, craftsmanship, scholarship, and presentation across four distinct disciplines of Arts and Sciences.

The highest-scoring artisan across all categories is crowned Cultural Olympian.

Competitors must enter one item in each category to qualify.

Weapon Olympiad

The Weapon Olympiad tests precision, endurance, adaptability, and mastery across multiple weapon styles.

The top-ranked fighter across all categories is crowned Weapon Olympian.

Competitors must enter each weapon category to qualify.

Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp

Nestled along the shoreline of Panhandle Lake, this dedicated camp facility offers expansive open fields for large-scale battle games, wooded areas for immersive gameplay, and indoor spaces ideal for Arts & Sciences displays and gatherings. With on-site camping and a scenic natural setting, the venue provides both the space and atmosphere worthy of Amtgard’s premier interkingdom championship.
